History Delta Sigma Omicron first started in the fall semester of 2002.
Club founder Jorge Acevedo and Mike Geiger decided to start a club that would address the needs for disabled students. Delta Sigma Omicron is involved in many parts of campus life. This club brings to students to be a much part of the college family. You do not have to be disabled to join. This club is for all to join. Delta Sigma Omicron participates in many extracurricular activities from fund raisers to setting of to Baja California in the field studies which students non disabled students and disabled students enjoy and learn about the wonders of marine life.
