Your VOD may be an IEP, a letter from your doctor or psychiatrist, or a completed form from a Learning Disability Specialist or Educational Psychologist. In order to be valid, your VOD must meet these criteria:
- it must be current
- it must be completed by a qualified professional
- it must describe your disability, how it limits your educational performance, and appropriate accommodations.
If you do not have a valid VOD, your counselor will outline possible steps for obtaining one.
