Mindfulness Meditation Retreat
WHEN: Nov. 16-18. This weekend retreat will meet on Friday, WHY: To deepen your meditation practice. Imagine going to a place in a redwood forest where your only responsibility is to yourself. Everything is provided for you in regards to food and lodging. Imagine being mostly silent, where there are no phone calls, answering machines, e-mails, and people to respond to.
Nov. 16. Registration begins at 4:00 pm. Dinner is served at 6:00 pm
and the first sitting is 7:00 pm. We will depart on Sunday Nov. 18
WHERE: Land of Medicine Buddha - 5800 Prescott Road, Soquel, CA
Rooms are shared with one to four other people. Most rooms are doubles and
triples. Visit the LMB website to see rooms and the setting. Bedding and

COST: $375.00 - includes delicious vegetarian meals and lodging.
CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a $50 nonrefundable cancellation fee. There
will be no refunds after Nov. 1.

ROOMS ARE ASSIGNED: On a first-come-first-serve basis to the extent possible. (i.e.: double rooms are assigned to first registrants, triples, next, quads next, etc.). Specific roommate requests will be honored when possible.
Mark Abramson, D.D.S. is director of the mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Program at Stanford Medical Center Complimentary Medicine Program.
Sakti Rose,M.A. ,S.E.P. teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction both in hospital groups and individual settings. Sakti has a Somatic based therapy practice in Marin County resolving trauma and stress related illness.
Bob Stahl, Ph.D. is the director of the Awareness and Relaxation Training which contracts mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Programs at El Camino Hospital, Dominican Hospital, and O'Connor Hospital.
