Glendale Coach Wilder Passes Glendale Athletics mourns the passing of Glendale Community College softball coach Dave "Hawk" Wilder. The coach, who passed away Sunday at the age of 70, had just completed his 13th year with the team. A Native American (Karuk Tribe), Wilder was highly respected for both his work at GCC and his decades of helping youth teams throughout the San Fernando Valley.
