As a member of the PGA, Professional Golfers Association, Greg Osbourne has been involved in all aspects of the golf industry for over 25 years. He developed his own teaching method with the use of computer technology and is the Head Golf Professional at Chevy Chase Country Club, in Glendale, California. Over the years he has been selected to represent the companies of Titliest, Foot-Joy, Dr. Pepper, Golf Digest and others in National commercial golf campaigns. He has a reoccurring role as an Actor on the NBC show Las Vegas starring James Caan.
In 1984, Greg made All- American status for California Lutheran University, where he graduated with a Physical Education degree. He has worked in many different aspects of the golf industry. He became president of United States Golf Corporation from 1992-1995 where he was involved in the development of a highly advanced golf ball. He then became president and owner of Wisdom Golf Inc., which researched and developed a state of the art titanium golf clubs and marketed them through sales strategies via the Internet from 1995-1997.
Establishing himself as a well-respected instructor, in 1998 he became Head Golf Professional at Sepulveda Golf Complex, before moving to Whittier Narrows golf course in Rosemead, California in 2001.
After gaining a spot on the North – South Cup Team for three consecutive years, he won the All-American Classic in 2003 and several local PGA events. In 2006, Greg competed on a professional golf team, called The Los Angeles Stars of the National Golf League.
In March of 2007, Greg was named the Head Golf Coach at Glendale Community College where he graduated with and Associate Arts degree. He was voted MVP of GCC Golf team and was a starter on a GCC Championship football team.
In 2008, he was inducted into the California Lutheran University, Athletic Hall of Fame, in Thousand Oaks, California.
In Four short years, GCC has become one of the top programs in the state. The Vaqueros finished ranked third in the in Southern California, finishing second in the Western State Conference, second in the Southern California Regionals, and seventh in the California State Championship.
In 2011 Coach Osbourne was presented the ACE Award for Character and Ethics for the City of Glendale.. The 2010 GCC womens golf team was also presented the ACE Award for Character and Ethics,
