The 2010 season marks a new beginning for the "Lady Vaqs" as Glendale College Men's Golf Coach Greg Osbourne take's over as the coach for the women's team.
Osbourne is an alumni of Glendale College, where he played football and golf for the Vaqueros. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to be the men's and now the women's golf coach, since the program was brought back in 2008. We are all working very hard to create a quality golf program at Glendale College, said Osbourne, a PGA professional who was inducted into the California Lutheran University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009. The men and woman are playing for one goal, to be State Champions .We practice and hold our Western State Conference home tournament at Oakmont Country Club, the best golf course in Southern California. The Vaqueros pride themselves by representing Glendale Community College the best possible way.
