MEN'S BASKETBALL

    Glendale is 2-2 after losing to San Diego Mesa College 72-67 last Monday. Nate Bryant led the Vaqs with 16 points and Nick Rhodes, the WSC Player of the Week last week, added 12 points, eight assists and five steals. Sooren Derbogohossian-Pakajaki had eight rebounds and four points.

    The Vaqs play in the Antelope Valley Tournament Friday through Sunday and face host team Antelope Valley at 7 p.m. Friday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

    The Lady Vaqs fell to 2-5 with a pair of losses in the L.A. Pierce College Tournament last weekend, 59-48 to Barstow College Friday and 68-61 to L.A. Southwest College Saturday. In the loss to LASW Saturday, Alexandra Mancillas led Glendale with 15 points and four steals. Janee Stvenson added 10 points and eight rebounds and Michelle Eclar had seven rebounds, four points and four assists.

    Glendale plays next in the Fresno City Tournament December 8-10.

MEN'S SOCCER

    All-WSC First Team selection Rafael Reyes led a total of five players earning conference honors at a recent meeting of coaches. Victor Olsson and Anton Forsberg were named to the All-WSC second team and Antonio Vielman and Mikael Andersson were named honorable mention.
