GCC CalWORKs is trying out a new system for serving our students! 


About the Appointment System

  • Through the Appointment System, you will be able to make an in-person appointment with your GCC CalWORKs Case Manager. 
  • In most cases, your Case Manager will be able to process your GAIN or Childcare documents and give them back to you at the end of your appointment.  This will usually mean that you will not need to wait two weeks to get what you need for your GAIN Worker. 

How to Make an Appointment

  1. Click the following links to see your Case Manager's available appointment times:
    Pamela Rosas..... Students with Last Names Ending in A-Gi.... Pamela's Calendar
    Jeffrey Sketeris.... Students with Last Names Ending in Gj-M...... Jeff's Calendar
    Debbie Stepp...... Students with Last Names Ending in N-Z........ Debbie's Calendar
  2. Decide when you'd like to meet. 
  3. Bring your current term VOCCAB, application, and the GAIN documents you need processed to the GCC CalWORKs Front Desk.
  4. ASK THE FRONT DESK STAFF TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOU.  (Appointments must be made by CalWORKs staff.  Students cannot make their own appointments.) The Front Desk staff will give you an appointment reminder card. 
  5. Come to the GCC CalWORKs office (SF 114) at your appointment time. 
  6. Telephone your Case Manager from the Telephone next to the Student Printer in the CalWORKs Office 
  7. Your Case Manager will come out to the waiting area to meet you.
