The California Board of Registered Nursing may deny a license regulated by the Business and Professional Code, Section 480, on such grounds as: conviction of a crime, acts of dishonesty, fraud or deceit. All students selected for enrollment in the nursing program must complete a criminal background check, and must disclose any background issues to the Nursing Program Director
