The Vaquero Baseball program has an outstanding reputation and tradition. The coaching staff takes great pride in their ultimate goal of having a 100% transfer rate of all sophomore student-athletes to the four-year level or into professional baseball. GCC's Conference Championships have come in 1980, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
The team practices and plays across the street from the GCC campus at beautiful Stengel Field. Stengel Field is in a prime location for professional and collegiate scouts to evaluate and recruit players. Stengel Field is a 1,500+ capacity stadium with lights for night games.
