As a long-time member of the Credit ESL Division, I have worked to bring people of diverse cultures and backgrounds together to find the jewels within each other’s cultures. Growing up in a multi-lingual environment with Hungarian, Russian and later French and German as the languages I heard and learned fueled my interest in living and working outside the U.S. which I did for a number of years in Germany and Switzerland. My interests include biodynamic gardening, photography, animal rescue, and forensic anthropology. Professionally I belong to CATESOL and MLA. My areas of professional concentration include teaching all skills of ESL as well as freshman composition, critical thinking, and literature.
