Clinical Supervisor, Glendale Community College
As a licensed marriage family therapist, I provide mental health counseling to students and to faculty and staff, through the Employee Assistance Program. In my role as a CAMFT certified clinical supervisor, I recruit, hire and train master's level graduate students who then provide short-term solution-focused counseling through our year round trainee/internships practicum. By staying current in the field, via relevant conferences and workshops, I am able to bring cutting-edge approaches and modalities to the setting.
Community resources are also available on an as-needed basis. Current community services are posted and updated on the GCC Health Center website. These are local, low-cost revolving independent activities for augmenting and supporting wellness and psychological health. They are also sources of ancillary care.
We have much to offer and much to learn as we partner to understand and respond to the needs of a diverse, high-functioning campus population at large.
